Our Vision is of a Centre that will

1. Promote a standard of excellence in Emergency Preparedness
   
2. Define a standard of care for Emergency Preparedness
   
3. Provide resources to achieve and surpass the standard of care
   
4. Promote research in Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Medicine
   
5. Promote and facilitate emergency preparedness planning between agencies and avoid planning "silos"
   
6. Develop criteria and advocate for the establishment of an endowed chair in emergency preparedness.
