Description:
Well organised site with many HAZMAT resources for downloading.
The categories of resources are easily located by running
your cursor over the toolbar near the top of the page. Of
interest to all and particularly EMS/first responders.
Description:
This is a good resource page for first responders. MIPT
have specifically decided to support police officers,
firefighters, emergency medical technicians and all of
the others who are first on the scene in the aftermath
of terrorist activity. They sponsor research to discover
equipment, training and procedures that might assist them
in preventing terrorism and responding to it. The site
has links to an extensive library that may take a bit
of time to wade through until you find what you want but
it has many good resources. Worth a visit, particularly
for EMS.
Key
words: radiation, CBRN, EMS, risk assessment, HAZMAT, public health
Description: A
good site with an overview of radiation injuries and everything
from setting up a site command to managing a nuclear explosion.
Full of practical information.
